If you're a BATMAN '89 fan, you really need to pick up John Jackson Miller's BATMAN: RESURRECTED. It's a novel set between the two Burton films, picking up just a few weeks after the Joker's death, and it's a blast.

Writing a licensed property is tricky, and he threads the needle perfectly.
