Good morning folks! Lulu hopped on my bed to say good morning before my alarm went off. Put a little salmon pate down for her and she had a bit. (Also had to give Cody some because…Cody.) She’s in the closet resting. Does purr when petted. And spent a moment in the sun.

Nightly Lulu update: she just had some of the new dry food! Hubby and I are breathing a little easier. I did break my Target boycott to order some Churu and other special stuff for her to try tomorrow. Anything for my baby girl.

Not heading back to the vet yet but can be ready if needed. She is moving around and has been changing rooms/spots like she is annoyed with us and wants to be left alone.

Thanks to the folks who donated towards the vet bills and for words of encouragement! I’ll keep posting updates.

Didn’t have energy for anything, so hubby picked up dinner and we are having a grocery order delivered (including some special food for Lulu).

Lulu is still in the closet sleeping, will give her meds a little later.

Lulu has relocated to one of her usual sleeping spots in my closet. Still gets growly after more than a minute of pets. I don’t think she’s had food or water yet but she was pretty ill yesterday so her system might need a little longer to recover.

We’re to monitor & call vet if Lulu doesn’t show improvement in the next 24 hrs. She is resting under hubby’s bed but let me pet her a bit.

Another update before I pass out. Anti nausea meds administered. Lulu will be sedated for x-rays. Vet is cutting us a deal but still looking at $500 for this trip. (After the $770 last week.)

Lulu update: they’ve been at the vet almost 2 hours now. No further vomiting but poor thing may be dehydrated. Still attempting to explore/escape, so that’s a good sign.

Chat, please keep Lulu in your thoughts. She’d been doing good after a week on the steroids but today she threw up before we got home from work, after we were home, had a bad 💩, threw up some more. Very violently, she looked so distressed 😿 Hubs on the way to the vet now. Will update with news.

Lulu has been extra growly at Cody these last few days. Not sure if she’s mad cuz she’s getting nightly steroid meds and he’s not….let me tell you how much she HATES being a burrito. Aka GRRRRRR-ito.

OK, I am so done now. Smells amazing in here, being smart and dedicating one Tupperware full of the best pieces just for me. (Just kidding, I don’t have big enough Tupperware to fit everything in one so I get the excess.) #glutenfree

Back on my regular baking schedule. Woke up feeling ambitious. Will probably regret it later 😅 #glutenfree
A square glass dish with Amish Friendship Bread. Very big crack at the top; normally gets baked in 2 loaf pans. This took FOREVER (like 30 min longer than what recipe said). Glorious amount of cinnamon sugar on top. An off-white mixing bowl full of chocolate chip cookie dough (mini semi sweet choc chips) in the fridge resting. A baking sheet with focaccia dough resting on the counter. Nice drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of Carbone x OSMO seasoning salt blend. Handwritten recipe (in bright pink ink) for King Arthur gluten free brownies. Next up on the list to be made.
