An enduring aspect of the HP Juggernaut has been the "what Hoghouse are you/are the characters in this media" discussions/podcast eps, etc.

A better option (& 2 far better series of books) is 'What imperial house?', using Steven Brüst's Dragaera books!

Even better, have Major/Minor houses!

Congrats @onceuponageek.bsky.social , once again, for not only putting out a great episode, but for being Correct! Despite what the usually more correct Mr O'Malley said, Johnny Thunder did in fact, twice on one page, specify that Bahdnesia was an island!

Hello from Snowy Athens!

Here's a few slightly different styles I've played with (discussed further in the Alt Text, as in ~all of my art posts).

this shot is actually from my 1st (& so far only) art show, in August 2023, held at UUFA in Athens GA (which was briefly touched on at the beginning of my pinned pod interview).
5 rainbow-themed pieces by Ynza Morganstar, the 108th Sage, arranged vertically. the top piece mixes 2 of zeir styles, with the outer area in the 'Rainbow Spirals' on a black background, and in the center of the piece are 6 small overlapping circles, with the big circles colored using secondary colors (orange green and purple are each in 2 circles across from each other) with the slivers that overlap being the 'shared primary color' between them (blue between green and purple etc). the bottom two are in that same 'rainbow black spiral' style. the middle piece and the one above it are in what came to be called 'rainbow ribbon style', where the colors fade from one to the next only within the spiraly tendrils, and not as part of a coherent backdrop blocked by the non -rainbow parts. each of the rainbow ribbon pieces have an alternating black and white pattern that coheres independent of the rainbow sections, akin to how the rainbows act in the 'Rainbow Spiral style'.

'The Rainbow Bridge' - upright - this card symbolizes the Dreamed of Road to the Future/Promised Land/Impossible To Imagine Possibilities. It calls us to remember that rainbows are ephemeral at best, so without substantial support that road will crumble beneath us. reversed - when reversed, the Rainbow Bridge calls us to question our path. Do we have that insufficient support to persevere? do we need more prep time? other backers, allies and accomplices? ... OR, are we on an unsustainable path to ruin, bc we are lost in the myth/dream, and can't find enough grounding in reality to attain our goals?
