I didn't really have anything for this week's #ScreenshotSaturday but I recently discovered ShaderGlass by mausimus over on Itch.io and I decided to see what Synthaar would look like with an old retro filter, and I kind of love it. Perhaps I should do a screen shader option one day #gamedev #retro

Working on implementing a sort of fog of war in Synthaar that will make missions interesting by blacking out the lighting. While experimenting with it, I made this really cool little striking scene with the lone light on.

For #ScreenshotSaturday, I'd like to show off my new Career window! The entire character menu has been sized up and redone for better readability and flow. It was a tedious but fun side project! I've also been implementing "work days" as well

I can't believe it took this long to allow for this, but I've finally implemented customization into Synthaar after a character is created. Better yet, after you've "dyed" your character, you can wash it off in the shower later if you desire!

For Day 35, I had some trouble with this one, which didn't turn out quite as I intended; curtains! I thought I would show off the progress on the concept thus far. I may be taking a break from Object-a-day after today for just a bit so that I can work on more critical systems in Synthaar.

Day 34, this time with a new style of potted plant. I wanted to do something that was potted and green, as opposed to flowers which have dominated my indoor plant options. This potted plant can go on tables or the floor!

Day 33 of an object a day! I actually intended to make this awning have some plants growing on it, but I ended up liking how it looked so clean that I kept it this way. However, you can certainly expect an alternate version in the future!

Day 31 of an Object-a-day, today involved creating the first rug in Synthaar. The game has supported it, but I never actually made an asset for one, until now! Objects can be placed on top of them.

Day 28! Today's object is an advertisement column to put in public spaces. I've always loved neon signs and ads in Sci-fi settings, and really wanted to add my own. This likely will not be the last I do of this sort of object.

Actually, it's an object on a grid! It has multiple sub-meshes that turn on or off depending on what object is in a neighboring grid square. If the pattern is a corner, T section or cross section, it turns on the pillar. The real mesh looks like this!

Day 27 of Object-a-day, I wanted to flesh out more assets to create outdoor park lots on each planet that I have a city on. So, for Borokene the desert planet, I've created this low fence wall.

For Day 26 of the object challenge, I thought I could use more variety in lamp types, particularly in tall ones for the indoors. This tiered lamp is nice in a technical setting, but also for more elegant settings as well.
