Maybe I'm a bit dumb but it was rather confusing trying to figure out how to update Unity to patch out the security issue. It's a shame that the Unity Hub seemingly doesn't have a feature to automatically recommend the best new version and download it automatically.

Had an amusing bug in Synthaar where if your character was unemployed, and you met another character who was unemployed, then it registered you both as coworkers.

I guess that's... technically true? Co..unworkers?

Synthaar has been updated to V0.2.5! In this update, previews for crafting and governments make their debut, as well as two new species, keybinding, and bug fixes!

I didn't really have anything for this week's #ScreenshotSaturday but I recently discovered ShaderGlass by mausimus over on Itch.io and I decided to see what Synthaar would look like with an old retro filter, and I kind of love it. Perhaps I should do a screen shader option one day #gamedev #retro

Working on implementing a sort of fog of war in Synthaar that will make missions interesting by blacking out the lighting. While experimenting with it, I made this really cool little striking scene with the lone light on.

Some advice for devs, if you're ever parsing strings into floats for whatever reason, make sure you take into account that some languages in the world swap the roles of the comma and the decimal. It'll read it without error, but suddenly 2.5 becomes 2,500 for some users, causing problems.

It was heartbreaking to hear that Roberto Orci passed away. I regard Fringe as one of the greatest Science Fiction stories created, and it is my personal absolute favorite show of all time.

I hope he gets to have a long and prosperous life "over there."

I can't believe it took this long to allow for this, but I've finally implemented customization into Synthaar after a character is created. Better yet, after you've "dyed" your character, you can wash it off in the shower later if you desire!
