I'm sure that Expedition 33 is a good game but I still feel somewhat justified in disliking it purely for heavily contributing to the most boring awards ceremony that I've ever seen and snubbing so many categories just to be the GOTY anyway

I don't have that much experience with the RE franchise yet but this one is still my favourite. The atmosphere is outstanding and the camera work can make the game genuinely unsettling at times.

Most of this feels performative. Sorry but I don't trust that even half of the Nintendo/Mario Kart fans that are upset about this price point will actually avoid buying it. The general gaming space is averse to putting their money where their mouth is. Already seen other big franchises prove that.
