Zelenskyy embodies the (purported) American values of freedom from oppression & tyranny, dignity, the right to thrive. On Friday, our govt cornered him like a nerdy kid with glasses and beat him up on live TV. This freedom fighter whose people have suffered immeasurably. I cried the whole time.

Today, in a meeting at the White House, the only person actually defending American interests was Zelenskyy.

Let that sink in.
