And how could I forget the Raven and the Fox! Every time the Raven took over a chapter it was an absolute delight. And the Fox, oh how I am excited to see the havoc he brings. I look forward to seeing how the many aspects of the Raven and the cunning Fox return in the coming books.

While Neema's growth throughout to story was 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵, these highlights display how well other major characters have been fleshed out and how they develop over the course of the fight for the throne.

I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the trilogy & I can't wait to reread this down the line! I've compiled countless highlights across the book, and I need to share some of them. The first being a combination of beautiful lines that have hung on my soul balanced with relatable humorous ones.

My curse did strike again, though... As always, the character I pick out as my favourite ends up dying or being a terrible person, and this book managed to sneakily do both! ....I am not in any pain at all, promise.

Given that I kind of remember the plot of Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses, I had an idea of who the mystery would tie back to, but the way Craig weaved living gods into such a small and faithful community created a wonderful spin on the original tale.
