As a chaser from TV, this Lovecraftian hellish monster from Space 1999 also stayed with me for some time - the mid control, drawing its helpless prey to their doom in a zombie-like trance, the massive eye, the tentacles, and spitting out the charred corpse after devouring as a finishing touch.
