Fox sports announcer Joe Davis is basically an Ohtani fanboy masquerading as a play by play guy. It's so over the top annoying I shut off the audio. FFS just call the game. I swear he'd fellate Ohtani on live TV given the chance.

Here is something to think about. The US National weather service is tracking a major nor'easter that will bring heavy rains winds and coastal flooding with beach erosion to the east coast. The US Government is currently shut down, meaning they are NOT being paid to track a major storm.

Photos from a Sunday evening garden walk. This time of year is difficult for me. The gardens are full. There's so much beauty, but the hours of daylight are growing shorter. It's almost 6:00 a.m. and it's still dark outside. Maximum appreciation and gratitude, but knowing it's the grand finale. 🌱

Thursday the well pump died and cost $$$ to replace. Today (Saturday) the AC compressor isn't working which will also cost $$$ to fix/replace.
Can't wait to see what happens Sunday. 🙄

Neighbors are having a party and the street is so jammed with vehicles it looks like a car dealer's lot. Every vehicle is an SUV and is either white or black with one exception -- a red compact in the mass of creepy sameness. 🚗 It's sorta disturbing and a real metaphor for .... Something.

My two gardens are small but they are mighty 😂. At least so far. 🤞Very pleased they survived the 100+ heatwave without incident. Long way to go but hoping for a good year. #gardening 🌱 #vegetablegardening
