I was looking for language that limits the decision’s applicability against *private* sharing of ads or content containing personal data on a platform? If not………

There were the other Cox cases -- possibly was it in one of the parallel matters from other rightsholders.

If I recall right, at the district court there was evidence that Sony (and others) had third party agents flooding Cox with substantively or procedurally infirm notices. The District Court (and 2nd Circuit) didn't just discount that... they didn't even mention it at all.

(1) hard Khan-style enforcement against private equity and large financial industry fraud, while not destabilizing it or our economy;
(2) reinstatement of limits on campaign finance, foreign influence, and in-kind contributions; and,
(3) for 1 and 2, hard-edged judicial reform. /end

This seems especially hard when the courts are ready to enforce financial interests at the expense of costs to ordinary Americans. To make it work, you’d need a three pronged attack on the current situation (but that will meet resistance and counter-attacks): /3

What's the point of a grand jury if even this level of corruption doesn't bar an indictment?

If that happened to the adult men what of all the disappeared or deported unaccompanied children?

The simple answer: major donors were going to stop donating unless they conceded. In the end Schumer's party is a business.

It could be worse. Your train is *leaving* Penn just after the rangers game let out and they won.

Challah bread is the bread you use to buy your challah.

The ATM machine is the secret squirrel mafia that makes them work right... some of the time, and other times drives you nuts.

I'll show myself out.

It's not new for US law enforcement but it's so widespread and unaccountable its now visible to the mainstream. Some folks have faced it for decades. Even Germany used Jim Crow in the 1930s as a potential model but decided it wasn't extreme enough. Also, this was Family Guy in 2013...

Another read: an ICE arrest is de facto evidence you are not a citizen, regardless of your papers.

It's not a typical Trump supporter's fault. They are being targeted hard by a long-term campaign and surrounded by misinformation. Anyone who thinks you wouldn't be susceptible if it was all you heard every day at home, at church, and around the community is fooling themselves.

We joke but this is absolutely intentional. Ask a typical Trump supporter about COVID, vaccines, and the "checks" that caused inflation, and they will swear the entire episode happened because of Biden.

Trump may improperly (try to) use an EO to the same effect.
