Every time I hear reboot I immediately think of TMNT because 6 year old me is still salty over some crossover toys and 40 year old me is wondering who approved this fanfiction to life? They're still important but I knew I outgrew that story cause of the constant rebooting

We had a small rental store in my neighborhood that carried the entire first 10 vhs tapes of it so I ran through it like a million times as a kid and then I discovered the animation/anime area at 7 or 8 and it went all downhill. I had seen Akira at like 5 so definitely ruined early on 😆

1. Is writing an entire fanfiction for Govt Class 11th grade year about Xfiles's The Lone Gunmen meeting an elderly JFK, so I can fact drop info about JFK from govt class into it for a whole grade.

I got addicted via the old Robotech Series from harmony gold as a preschooler and then read the novelized books in elementary school (I stole them from my oldest brother) and did book reports on them.

I was in preschool watched what I didnt know was anime until a few years later when I learned the term from my brother in the 1980s cause my ass sought out the anime series at the rental stores as a kid. Lol. Ive always been an insufferable lil anime snob and comics..

I grew up with a lot of these but I was an animation fan like crazy and new a lot of shows before Nelvana. Lots of Frank Welker up in those shows as a VOA.
