Tales from art studio ... Ive got the opportunity to make a giant series Ive done only small versions of a reality. Then on top of it my friend needed a desk for his kid starting online school like my own it created a catalyst for my studio to be rearranged and bringing back my old desk.

I run a little show called Rogue's Gallery Memphis and our October event is called Daughters of Dorkness and our theme this year is Ungovernable (Taylor Park did our poster artist and Lee Raggs did our Badge Art) Im so lucky I have friends who support this idea of ladies and queers mini con.

Had my annual mammogram and ultrasound. Everything is staying the same for now. The justice league and legion of doom are playing peacefully for now and scheduled next year's

2 of my pets are shelter babies... the 3rd was a side of the road in the rain and I just couldn't leave her there child.... she's now a happy hippo tanuki doggo.

It took me years to feel comfortable working back into older pieces of art. These 3 are from reworked silk scree pieces from graduate school working on my masters in art ed with marker and some paint markers with white gel pen.

The last month I've had no real time to work on art but took a minute to do a very #JamesGunn feeling #Krypto #Superman with #Swampthing because we all know Krypto is the #GoodestBoy from the latest Superman movie trailer.

As we flood the algorithm today away from the orange flavored one who will never get the brain cell - (I know I shouldn't use a cat insult but it works ok?) - that we stand together and see each other when the red hats march down the street.

Inspired by another artist friend. We need to flood the algorithm with everything we have right now. Don't delete the apps we have available to us. Silence gets us nowhere.
