I don't get how anyone can see the vastness of what space is; the amount of galaxies that exist beyond our own farther than we could even fathom... and be so sure that we are the only planet that life could possibly exist on.

Starting "Alloy of Law" and seeing only 10 hours (6 for 1.75 speed) and 20 chapters after finishing stormlight archive I'm like....

I have not had a thrill like this in finishing a book series in a very long time. Once I hit the last few hours, I couldn't stop. No sleep was allowed until I was finished.
Now I can't sleep because I'm all riled up from that! Ahhhhh!

I have not had a thrill like this in finishing a book series in a very long time. Once I hit the last few hours, I couldn't stop. No sleep was allowed until I was finished.

Can someone please explain to me properly and in detail why lawmakers/policy writers can hide shit in their policies? Because things like "tiktok ban" shouldn't be allowed to be hidden in something like "humanitarian aid for places hit with natural disasters" that people desperately need to pass.
