I'm not a fan of the black and white narrative of AI. AI "art" is the biggest bullshit on the planet and I hate it more than anything ever, but there are definitely use cases for the kind of program that AI are and it feels misplaced to throw the whole concept out because it's very inefficient atm.

In the show Penny Dreadful there is a Frankenstein character and the monster is incredibly intelligent and eloquent and deeply lonely, it is my favorite depiction of the story, but I haven't actually read the book yet.
