We have built such great bonds with them. Now that it’s getting hotter out we will have more friends coming to dinner ☀️

It’s been 4 weeks since I burned my leg and it’s almost completely healed. I’m so glad 🙌 It’s gonna be a wicked scar but that’s ok. I’m not worried about it.

I’m fitting into smaller clothes and feeling more like me every day. I could go on and on—because these victories matter just as much (if not more) than the number on the scale.

This is an open letter, and I’m posting it publicly. If you’re still here and haven’t blocked me, then you can see this.

Some of you have already made it clear how you feel, telling me I need to “repent” or that I’ll “burn in hell.”

But here I am, standing in my truth.

I am not known by my old name. That is not me. And I thought you all should know this.

I never formally came out to many of you because, truthfully, I didn’t have the emotional energy to face what I already knew would come from certain family members.

The last time I came out—years before this—I saw firsthand how many of you reacted. And I knew I couldn’t go through that again.
