I've spent the past year trying to figure out how to use blender to put clothes on my model and getting frustrated that tutorials didn't help because they were based on typical humanoid models.. I was too dumb to realize I could follow the tutorial and delete the human afterwards 🤦♂️

I've been doom scrolling on reddit for the past two weeks and haven't spent my time here like at all. It's so refreshing here. I'm still getting my news, but at least with some more optimistic vibes

I pushed myself to get a computer set up for my youngest sibling and ended up breaking my PC in the process. A replacement piece is on the way, but the realization sunk it that I haven't been without a PC since 2014. I feel naked without it..

Me: For the first time in a few weeks I have nothing I have to do this weekend. I should take some time to do some rigging.

Getting there. Model separated out so that each individual bone is its own piece, named, and weighted. Eyes added, resized, and positioned. On to attempting to rig? Will figure out clothes later..

Trying to go through and follow a bunch of stuff here has really put into perspective just how new this platform is. I love it, I feel like I'm early to the party for once and not half a decade behind
