My May Day two cents:

1. The 8-hr workday was a big victory but it's way past time for the next big victories, which should be universal basic income and a 4-day workweek.

2. On International Workers' Day we should be sure to recognize unpaid work as work. Unions should fight for UBI for ALL work.
