The sloppy use of the term AI also lends validity to things like ChatGPT because the common understanding of AI is just generative garbage.

Scientists designed a purpose-built tool for drug and disease analysis. They did not type "Please make a drug?" into a prompt window and claim brilliance.

I really dislike how science has started calling almost any fancy computational technique AI. 🧪

The framing of this entire article makes it sound like a benevolent AI independently made these drugs.

That is *pure fantasy*.

Instead: a team of scientists made a machine learning model for a study.

Having gone to an art school, I can certainly say you don't need to go to an art school.

Make connections with other artworks, network, do independent study. That'll get you work eventually, without the $300k debt.

I chatted with someone's kid recently who wanted to go to Calarts and study animation. I went to Calarts. I dont recommend doing any art college. Instead take specific single classes on your own instead. Right now jobs are extremely scarce and art college is 300k+ in debt. youtu.be/4uLA72brluc?...
