At the Wagon-bar between Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris chatting about EU, connectivity, transport, space, defence - Ukraine!
Yes we are strong and Russia at its weakest. Our US friend is sick, but we carry the same virus.

If we show our strength now and kick RU out of Ukraine, the US will be on our side. They cannot be on the looser side...

The US have so many vested interests (commercial, political, military, intelligence) that we should mostly worry about them getting more involved.

Great article by Euractiv, although I would have reverted the title to "How Berlaymont retook EU biz lobby".

Quotes a lobbyist “It turns out simplification isn’t simple and creates the kind of uncertainty that we help organisations navigate every day,” 🤷

When it should be so easy to be popular when your competition has become billionaire sponsored populists. I mean the topics are becoming for or against rule of law, independence of justice/science, public education, impartiality of public administrations, wealth distribution...

Their economy was based on energy exports via pipelines to Europe...
Another point, China can tolerate Russia loosing in Ukraine, but not its total economic collapse.
If we want lasting peace, we close the skies above Ukraine and give them our best weapons.

Kremlin collapsed its own economy for this war. More sanctions are necessary but it would be optimistic to think that they can end this war and prevent a next one.

Super interesting Rafael thanks.
I laugh at the contradiction between the vanity of US State Department saying "unacceptable" (forbidden words in diplomacy 101) and the triviality of contributing to a Commission consultation on the Have your say portal.

Good point, although optimistic on the Trump ever having a last day in office part...
