Give the open end a little tug from both sides so it looks ever so slightly like an accordion. That’ll separate the sides without needing wet hands!

Working with this population in 2017, I can tell you that Ottawa needs far more LTC beds than they currently have. They also need to invest money to fix those with exit signs hanging from a wire in the ceiling, amongst other maintenance issues.
