Many discuss ways to get inspiration back for art/stories, which is cool, but sometimes your brain's just DONE & that's okay too. Let it rest so your work feels fresher again later (I realize it's harder when it's a job tho). Play games, stare at the walls, go with the flow. Forget it for a bit.

If you're a creator who:

-Takes long break periods
-Creates very slowly
-Has another full time job or engagement
-Struggles with productivity
-Is inconsistent

I'm sorry to tell you...

YOU'RE STILL A VALID CREATOR BECAUSE CREATING IS TIED TO PASSION, NOT PRODUCTIVITY 💜

Another hot tip for saving money:

You can refill your Micron (or similar) pens when they dry up. There are several YouTube videos, but basically pop the end off, shake out the sponge-tube, drip whatever ink you like into the sponge slowly until it's wet through, then re-assemble. Voila! Like new!

If only practicing the art fundamentals (and drawing nothing else) to get good doesn't work for you, don't do it.

It doesn't work for most.

Do whatever makes drawing fun enough to do it consistently and without overthinking to the point of self-sabotage.

Study after.
