Yup, I do not envy medical researchers and practitioners having to translate sketchy and incomplete data into concrete treatment decisions (and I'm very grateful someone does it, having taken more than one child to the hospital deathly ill, and been returned a healthy child each time)!

How did they address the issue where everyone gets their butt in gear a little faster when the patient looks really sick, shortening the time to pressor administration?
That could easily make it look like timely intervention is useless or counterproductive, since the sick patients also do worse.

For those of us on our phones/without access, can you give a one-sentence summary of the method and conclusion of the strongest study in the review?
For example, the earlier mentioned study could be summarized as "In an RCT, voters moved right when primed to think about inflation."

Garbage interpretation, not garbage study! The study shows that yammering on about inflation moves votes, which is basically Will's core thesis here.
