INBOX: Former NIAID director Jeanne Marrazzo is suing the Trump administration.

She alleges the NIH violated her constitutional rights and illegally fired her after she blew the whistle on actions that jeopardized public health and violated federal law.

There aren’t many things worse one can imagine than the loss of a child.

But the loss of a child to a vaccine preventable disease is a pain no parent or family should ever have to bear.

Sowing distrust about vaccines, arguably the greatest public health success of all time, is pure evil.

Thanks @microbiologysociety.org for promoting our work! Umbribacter vaginalis is also associated with increased risk for HIV acquisition in women. Bacterial colonies resemble tiny micro droplets of water. One cannot measure growth using optical density. These tiny bacteria are very ghost-like!
Pinch, punch, it's Microbe of the Month 🦠 Introducing Umbribacter vaginalis!

The novel bacterium was isolated from vaginal fluid samples of people with bacterial vaginosis (BV), a common condition in which the vaginal microbiome becomes disturbed by an overgrowth of bacteria.

Co-sign strongly.

And kids should be allowed to use the restroom when they need to.

Which shouldn’t be an outlandish statement yet here we are.
Tampons and pads should be in all public restrooms - ESPECIALLY schools. Stock them like toilet paper.

Scotland, New Zealand, even Kenya do it.

But not the USA, where men (and even some women) are so aggressively sexist that they fight AGAINST period products in schools.
