Trump's been threatening Australia because we have govt subsidised medicines. Big pharma still get paid so i don't understand why a POTUS woudl concern himself, unless its purely ideological animosity, bc Soc Dem countries brings the US's callousness into stark contrast?

Given how media algorithms amplify trends, it’s to be expected that the more negative comparisons, of where the USA is at these days, will result in more positive ones for other nations esp. China, both by people comparing them in comments plus algorithmic responses to those keywords plus bots.

Ukraine is complicated if ppl think one side is good, the other bad. Posited as one nation vs another, arguments can be made justifying either side.
Viewed as powerful oligarchs competing to exploit ordinary people everywhere, the conflict moves from horizontal to vertical.

Big difference btwn 'liberals" - believe in protection & freedoms of all individuals & minorities I.E. freedom ***from*** abuses of the majority or the powerful, and neoliberalism, an economic dogma adopted worldwide that is about ***freedom to*** enrich one's own at the expense & abuse of others.
