We are encouraged to see that the funding for housing has gone from $0 to $50 million, but as the article says, it is still falling short of unmet need, and input from the community is vital! You can still offer comments until 6/22 at houstontx.gov/housing

SB 38 will change the eviction process for all renters. Lt Gov Dan Patrick and lobbyists for landlords are misusing the language of “squatters” to strip rights away from every single renter in Texas.

The bill is passed in the Senate but still faces opposition in the Texas House. #eviction #txlege
