i have no issues with futher regulations if they make sense. but theres nothing contradictory about not wanting restrictions there and wanting restrictions for drag. banning guns or cars completely would be way more effective to stop deaths.

If it is, then clearly Jon's argument is also a bad equivalence. Jon could very easily argue against the harm caused by drag on its own merit but he's either lazy and/or is interested in shoehorning his own beliefs on guns.

Not about nice, it's a dogshit point. Big difference between laws that limit what a person can show a child, and a thing existing that children aren't supposed to have access to or interact with.
