How do you deal with Trump ? Nobody's really worked it out yet. Stroke his ego, lavish him with adoration or call him what he unmistakably is and hope for the best. I think Starmer resorted to good old fashioned gentle diplomacy ? Moving him around slowly as part of a much bigger strategic play.
