Phone screen and back glass broke because of a drop. When I was replacing the screen, I accidentally tore the front camera's connector (it's a cheap fix but I don't really want to replace it right now). So I patched up the back with black gaff tape and glued a makeup mirror over it. Kind of a vibe!

This is hilarious. I'm just trying to imagine how this conversation went:

BOSS: Hey, we just got these new decals in, can you post them up on the wall?

EMPLOYEE: Sure, I'll go do that

2 minutes later, without peeling off any of the stickers:

Another flag remix, this time with the Trans flag and the 1775 Liberty flag flown during the Revolutionary War.

Through much introspection I've realized I enjoy the freedom to be able to transition more than even transitioning itself.

That's ultimately what this month is all about: Love & Liberty

For 10 years now I’ve been wanting a Prophet keyboard. Well, last month I had a dream that I was playing it for a carbon removal conference, so I splurged and finally bought one. I’m obsessed with the way each note comes out of one side of the stereo field or the other. So therapeutic, kind of EMDR.

I saw at least one police officer wearing a vest that said "Counterterrorism Bureau." Others were from the Strategic Response Group.

I'm afraid the word "terrorism" has become too common. Used to mean innocent people being bombed. Now, street protestors are met with counterterrorism officers.

After telling everyone to leave the street or face arrest, protestors began moving to the sidewalk. In an apparent escalation, NYPD officers used pepper spray and began forcing people backwards. In this clip you can hear protestors shouting "peaceful protest"

I stood watch at the Foley Square protest outside the ICE facility tonight. There was a huge line of officers there, maybe 10 police vehicles on site, two helicopters overhead, and a police bus ready to round protestors up. Only about 100 people showed up in my estimation.

Holy troll-ly moley. This is the photo Trump is referring to which he held up in the WH a few weeks ago. The “MS13” is clearly added as text to try and make the case that Kilmar’s tattoos reference the gang. Embarrassing as that conclusion is, Trump SEPTUPLES DOWN (7x!!) that numbers are tattoos.

Came across these books from my childhood - I can't believe I forgot about these! Such good books and with great lessons inside

Project 2025 is not the only existential threat many of us will ever face. And so tomorrow we will have to find new ways to stay alive, similarly to how some of us are already living today.

Build collective power with your neighbors, friends, and coworkers so that whatever storms we face we are equipped to handle preparedly.

Some lessons from #Willows as we navigate a period of major fear and uncertainty for a lot of us. I’ve learned a lot from Willows, but what inspires me most about them is their ability to grow through adversity.

As always, please take care of yourself and each other. ✊🏻💙🌌🐢🍉

A couple summers ago this phrase came to me in a dream: "port automata." I looked it up, and this dense paper from 1983 came up called "Port Automata and the Algebra of Concurrent Processes." Well, I just read through most of it, and came across this gem with implications for the next 4 yrs (1/3):
