We also need to remember the machinations of the neoliberal economy that forces productivity and equates the overexertion of our labor to self-worth. Be kind to yourself.
If you’re the kind of person who easily forgets what you’ve accomplished, you need a practice for reminding yourself. Count the years, the finished projects, the progress, the praise, count it all up and use it as evidence against the ever present criticism in your head that you’re not doing enough.

I repeatedly see this in my Religion in America classes. Students inflate Muslim and Jewish populations in the US drastically.
This explains why conservative fear-mongering is such an easy play in America.
