5/ CBP One was converted to “CBP Home,” an app that "helps" immigrants “self-deport.” Revocation of parole isn’t the same as a deportation order & this email does not initiate deportation proceedings. Anyone who has received this may still have options & should talk to an immigration lawyer NOW

4/ It appears that mass emails like the one I received have gone out to everyone who processed their parole through CBP One. I was, of course, not one of those people! The system doesn’t let you include an attorney’s contact info, so we still have no idea how I ended up on the list.

3/ One of the many ways that the Biden administration tried to manage asylum seekers at the border was through the “CBP One” app. It had all kinds of problems, but it did still help a lot of people enter the United States legally to seek protection

2/ Immigration "parole" has nothing to do with criminal parole, but it's the same idea. It's a form of managing lawful entry into the US, just the way that the parole system manages release of prisoners back into their communities after they have served their time. It is "legal" immigration.
