Great album, feels like fado, understated production is incredibly refreshing and allows the quality of the songs to shine. She’s building up a helluva catalogue.

I awoke yesterday to watch reportage of the Middle East war, above a red ribbon that read Iran drones attack Israel. Started watching France 24 which is less offensive.

Blair’s use of language is *interesting*. Whenever he uses the word radical, he means conservative and actually believes it’s radical simply because he’s the one who’s saying it. I actually believe that he could find his way back into frontline politics as the leader of the Conservatives.

If only we had a record of them covering Will You Love Me Tomorrow. I spend an inordinate amount of time imagining how he would have belted out the ‘Tonight with words unspoken’ bit (mostly on one note, very much his trademark).
