I occasionally click on LinkedIn and immediately regret it. The place is a unique combination of manic/soulless/fake energy that I have not seen anywhere else.
I don't know how that place makes money but it is such a deflating experience.

In 15-20 years the states that allow this nonsense will be begging businesses and students to return. People may think 'oh it's just university it doesn't matter' but it really does. The smartest, most creative, most ambitious people will study where they can learn the most.
A professor at Texas A&M taught… something related to gender that offended a student, who secretly filmed herself objecting. That video is picked up by TX legislators, who demand her firing, and now the dean and dept head have been fired.

In 15-20 years the states that allow this nonsense will be begging businesses and students to return. People may think 'oh it's just university it doesn't matter' but it really does. The smartest, most creative, most ambitious people will study where they can learn the most.

Recently I've become aware of young folks making fun of anyone wearing sandals with bare feet and I feel like society has lost its way.
Wearing socks with your sandals is unhinged behavior and you should have been properly discouraged from this in school. COVID must have messed this up.
