Manmade famine & genocide of Ukrainians. 5-7 million dead with intention to destroy the Ukrainian nation and its claim to the state of Ukraine.

Raphael Lemkin  coined the term genocide called the holodomor an intentional genocide.

Mychajlo Drahomanow (1841-1895), einer der großen ukrainischen Intellektuellen, reist 1878 mit einer Broschüre nach Paris auf einen Literaturkongress, um gegen das russische Verbot (Emser Erlass) des Ukrainischen zu protestieren. Der Text ist ziemlich beeindruckend, Hilfe fand er keine.
