The slowdown explanation is very simple: if you just do the work without AI you correct for errors & issues as they emerge as you work meaning you don't have spend much time on review. If you use AI you have to review its work as a protracted task looking for weird errors no human would make.

They look a little stubby for 30-06 to me, more like 7×57mm for a M 98 Mauser.
In either case they sure aren't your typical .556 or .223 rounds that you have on a standard AR-15. I had assumed the shooter had used a bolt-actoin rifle from the photo alone. Very weird.🤔
