Turns out I've done a *few* extra raglan increases on my 🧶 tshirt while I haven't been paying attention 😆 Back I go...

Was struggling to find something yellow to post for this week's #showMeYourKnits without posting yet another cowl, forgetting this glorious crossbody bag I made a few months ago and use all the time and brings me All The Joy.
Slightly felted to prevent things slipping through any holes.

This new pattern is inspired by the Star card, perfect for Matariki and the Winter Solstice.
And invites us to ask:
1. Where do we get our nourishment?
2. What futures are we planting seeds for?
3. What are we pouring our love into?

The 2-colour version is great for colourwork beginners, with no float management, while the 3-colour version offers a challenge for more experienced knitters.
Or add the 3rd colour in duplicate stitch.
Varying size options.
On Ravelry now, but if that's inaccessible to you, get in touch. 🧶

Sneaking in one last photo of my favourite cowl for #ShowMeYourKnits cowl week.

Here's the two-colour versions, in fingering & DK weights, #knitsky
Less obviously floral in the pattern, but reeeeeaalllllly satisfying to knit, with no floats to catch.
🧶🧶🧶
Calculating yardage today, so getting closer to a complete pattern. Now I just need a haircut so I can take pretty pictures 🤣

Just finished this cowl today, Hope Grows Roots, perfect timing for this week's #ShowMeYourKnits
so you can get the blocking mat photo
🧶
It gave me lots of me practice at 3-colour stranded knitting, though there's also a 2-colour version without any float management.
🧶
Pattern coming out soon.

I'm amused by this set, all aces, all reversed. Some thoughts on my pull:
1. Stories of poor self worth
2. Tiny steps count, you don't have to have The Big Idea
3. Where is your spark? That this card has it pointed downwards for this question feels very fitting

To pompom or not to pompom, that is the question, #knitsky 🧶

I was going to post this colourwork beanie as my #showMeYourKnits #WIP but I accidentally finished knitting it, I was enjoying it so much (and that finished crown is so satisfying!) - though without a pompom, is it really complete?

I had the Six of Swords follow me around for 18 months until I made a knitting pattern from it. Did all the enquiry spreads, the journaling, everything I could think of. Wouldn't leave me alone. Until this. 🧶 Name is short for 'May your pain guide the way home'.

Two fluffy wristwarmers coming up! 🧶🧶🧶

Made from simple rib in the round, worked in the flat for the thumb hole, before joining back in the round. And then fluffying up with a slicker brush. I'd recommend a test swatch first.

Now I want to make all the fluffy things.... 😁

Working on this hypersaturated cowl this week #knitsky #showMeYourKnits 🧶
I love how from across the room the colours just blend together into a fantastic pinky-purple of my inner child's dreams

#knitsky my swatch pile is looking amazing right now! Found some cones of bright colours at an op shop recently, so I'm not sure what I'll knit yet, but the colours are making me happy. The green fuzz on top? that's requested wristwarmers for a young friend, made with a slicker brush 😁 🧶🧶🧶

Celebrating #showMeYourKnits colourwork week by working on yet another version of my Way Home Cowl, my first published pattern. Didn't quite know what to expect with this variegated yarn from hand-me-down stash, but is looking lovely. 🧶 #knitsky

Behold the blood moon! By which, of course, I mean, an incredibly blurry photo of said moon, in which you can barely tell it is either moon or eclipse, but there _is_ some red. It was a lovely bright crescent here, with a dark red rest-of-whole. #bloodMoon

This morning's progress was joining in the round. This afternoon's... not so much. Sigh.

I'm liking the way the colourwork of my #skyKAL is coming out, but long rows on 3mm needles sure do take a lot of knitting 🙃 ...whose idea was this again 🤣

Stash-diving to whip up a quick little felting project, only to find that one of the yarns must be superwash. Sigh.
I guess this is what you get when you inherit yarn from someone who never kept the labels. Can't frog it now 🤣

#ShowMeYourKnits asks for WIPs, but I don't think I can count them all without panicking slightly, so here's one my hands are enjoying. A new colourwork design and some nice shades of green 🧶 #knitsky

I cast on a bold pink project this week because I needed the dopamine. I had to dig out some straight needles for it because all my right size circulars were already taken. So maaaybe I have too many WIPs on the go rn. But at least this one's vibrancy is making me happy. 🧶
