My father died last Saturday, and I didn't find out about it until yesterday by seeing a post by my sister on FB. For over 40 years, he has refused my trans existence. His obituary deadnames me (He had input). It says he "found the good in everyone." What a crock. Where is Ender when you need him?

Take this spot on my arm for instance. It wasn't there on Saturday, but on Sunday, there it was.

To my dying day, I will never understand how anyone could think that being transgender is a choice. Sure, fool. I chose to be ostracized and despised. I decided that being the butt of jokes is exactly how I wanted to live my life.
