i also played some Castlevania Legends, the one on the Gameboy... because i'm just that desperate for Castlevania content, i guess

that game is hard but for all the wrong reasons. terrible hit detection, leaden jump, horrendous enemy placement + insta-respawn. just terrible.

hence, my vast preference for shorter games.

the frustration will be minimized if at least the game is over after an hour.
