I applied for pension benefits 3 yrs ago for my 97 yr old dad to help pay for his assisted living care. VA lost the paperwork (40 pgs!) I resent it, then they asked for 100's more documents I have no access to. I gave up even though Dad met the criteria. He served 9 yrs in US Army & during wartime.
