Retired and have ( very ) modest investments that have done reasonably well over the years. A couple of months ago I decided to switch brokers to Vanguard UK. This meant that all my shares apart from the Vanguard funds were converted to cash on transfer. Decided to stay in cash for the time being.

I was torn initially, not about whether or not to invest, but which wind turbine. My dad was Welsh, my daughter and grandson live in Yorkshire. Decided to hedge my bets and split my investment between the two.
