Got back from a walk along the trailway and through Delph woods to find numerous ladybirds still inhabiting a bush alongside the car park.

Fortunate to be invited to accompany a licensed ARC surveyor on the last local survey of the season. I didn't appreciate just how challenging the terrain would be in places. A great day out and priviledged to see and photograph one of our rarest reptiles.
