Little doe up near the house.
This is the second deer I've seen in the last few months. The first was a big buck that was on a mission running through my paddock.
This little girl just walked up near the backyard, had a munch, then made her way towards the paddock, jumping the fence like it was tiny

Replaced the plug today and did a mighty fine job of it, if I do say so. New plug is elevated above Rip height.
Saved myself almost $200 by doing a little electrical work myself. Bought a few extras just in case the little shit does it again.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

A week into my leave and so much has been done already.
Now it's time to hit the books. WFH set-up converted into online learning set-up. The plan is for 4hrs a day, maybe more, to try and complete a large chunk before I go back to work. Over 20 years since I last did an assessment. Wish me luck!

Oops. Probably shouldn't have worn my Adam Lambert Shirt to do fencing . Picked up some horse old panels and rusty water poured all over me. Hair, face, arms and torso. Have washed the car off. No point showering until I'm done.

By the time it finished, the ground looked like snow, but it's still really hot, so it melted pretty quickly. There were a few stones baseball size, most around 1-2 golf balls. These were still around 20 minutes after the hail stopped.

Holy shit, this is insane. It was sunny a few minutes ago.
I hope my horses are OK, some of these hail stones are 2-3 golf balls in size.
My patio is destroyed, car port flooded. I hope my solar panels and roof survived.

Meet Fred. Fred is currently squating in my feed shed.
Fred is an Eastern Banded Huntsman (also known as a Giant Banded Huntsman) and has a leg span of approximately 15cm (without whipping out the ruler).
Fred is big enough to pay rent, but I guess he is performing pest management services in lieu.

Clearly, some good eating in my shed.

When you let a naughty puppy sleep in the loungeroom with the air con on so he's not hot and he repays you by chewing apart his toybox, ripping apart his toys and leaving you a toy graveyard to clean up.

Rip has now recovered from his bout of haemorrhagic gastroenteritis. He's back to a happy, healthy little man, that cannot help but be naughty most of the time.
He got a new bed today which I think he might love.

It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since we lost Phillip Hughes. A tragic accident took his life way too soon. He died doing what he loved. I often wonder what would have become of his career. Would he have been as good as Bradman? We'll never know.

She has come a long way in the last few months. This photo was taken a few days ago showing how comfortable she is around the dogs. She let herself into a yard next to the house and dogs of her own free will, for a nap.
