I know it's used to stabilize the changes in hormones, which provides relief for some women actually. I also think some women absorb it very quickly transdermally which I did, so I have to take smaller amounts more frequently but I had bladder problems with menopause, not migraines.

Have they done blood clot studies on transdermal? I was under the impression the clotting factors are in the liver which happens from oral estrogen, like those also in contraception which is not even biologically identical. The WHI was a disaster for women's health in my opinion.

The interpretation of the WHI was ridiculous, overblown, and incorrect. It's about time these warning labels come off. In fact, if anything, the warnings should have been placed on the synthetic progestin MDA; not the oral estrogen CEE, which many don't even take anymore.
