My Nienna was very lucky-she found a spot with a rescue that didn’t mind keeping her for over a year. They were genuinely shocked when I inquired about her. She’s wobbly and deaf and absolutely perfect.

Excellent article, with many good points…but I find it hilarious that she focuses specifically on the rabbit eyeliner…

(Several breeds have similar markings, but these are all hotots because that’s the one I could remember.)

No, they’re just extremely limited edition

I dearly want a hognose, and there is no way I would be able to resist awarding such a precious noodle its own Oscar.

But also I only have one tank and it is currently full of this little stink-eye generator. Who is mad because his Sunday worm is late.

She actually adores the dogs (and they her), she just can’t hang out with them without an escort/interpreter, because they do not speak cat, she does not speak dog, they are large and without chill, and she does not get out of the way of anything.

High-cha, HIGH-dex, good int and con, wis is the dump stat (her perception bonus is in the negative).

She’s got the over dramatic backstory for either Warlock or Rogue, but her stealth skill is similarly negative.

I should probably find out who her patron is…

This one didn’t feel like sitting still for International Cat Day, so I’m just renewing my #proofofcat a day late.

With late fee proof of dog.

So it’s his personal fault that there’s all this new LotR stuff out and people still don’t understand why I named my cat Nienna? Good to know.

(Cat included)

My cat needs the loopy juice at the vet too. She spends the rest of the day rediscovering assorted appendages.

She also gets really disoriented, so I have to take time from work to be her sober buddy until she sleeps it off.

I don’t think I’ve re-upped my #proofofcat in a while, so here’s Nienna, with a joke that at least someone should get.

Books with pre-2023 copyright dates is my preferred filter too, unfortunately…

Not a lot of lilacs where I live, but whatever these are, they’re purple and they bloom in May. I’ll have to boil an egg later.

I wrote a thing, a sorta-lovecraftian micro fiction, and I’m actually kinda proud of it, so here it is:

My puppy gave me an ear infection that is trying to kill me and I had to block my best friend. But also it is Bird Jewelry Second Christmas so this is a great week!

(I’m actually planning to turn most of the earrings into a charm bracelet!)

@foxfeather.bsky.social -they’re so, so pretty!

This is Daisy. I had to do several double-takes.

We’ve sent Milo’s DNA off twice, to two different companies. They’re both pretty sure he’s a dog.

Also he understands English.

THIS IS NIENNA, SHE JUST TURNED 14
January 22, 2024 at 1:29 PM
Good luck, and would you like a distracting turtle? He doesn’t like anything very much, but he’s willing to hate ignorant doctors extra.

Think you could make these as dog tags? Because…

This is Nienna. She is Helping. Maybe if she helps you, she’ll stop Helping me with my crochet…
December 5, 2023 at 3:23 PM
Nienna has to be sedated for most vet things (she has Opinions), and when she gets home she is always astonished to discover that she has ears! And a tail!

Adds some entertainment value to having to take the whole afternoon off to supervise my cat… (she also panics and needs comforting)

Here’s Daisy. She’s 7 months old and mostly trouble. Shown: about to cause trouble, discovering the cat, keeping watch, and napping with her brother.
