HLA-B*15:01 has been linked to protection from severe COVID, but this is not fool-proof. B*15+ individuals can still succumb to severe infections. Check out a recent study from Prof Kedzierska's lab 👇🏼 showing a lack of public TCR usage in B*15+ patients with severe COVID.
