Ceiling and insulation back up. We're at least safe and warm in the kitchen again. Went with a plank ceiling because I really despise doing drywall. Going to wrap these uggo beams in something nicer. Maybe knit them a sweater or something.

How it's going. Still havent gotten all of the rot. A lot of mouse poop rained down on my head. Love this house.

Roof leaking. Trying to find it. No access to the attic above the kitchen. We now have access to the attic above the kitchen. More to come in what surely will be a complete gutting of the kitchen by the time I am through.

I don't know why i go to such effort with my turkeys. You can just put it in a bag with a single shake of 3 year old ground pepper and it's just as good.

Trial #3: made Macrons with half coconut/almond flour. Folded in an equal amount of coconut flakes at the end. Cherry soaked in fireball on top. Dark chocolate base rather than sandwich. This is certainly closer than trials 1 and 2, a curiously chewy cookie that is not ashamed to show it's nuts.

Test step 2: The Macaron flavored Macaroon. Used Meringue as the binder to the coconut and almond flour to thicken. Will get chocolate feet.

Test step one: the Macaroon flavored Macaron. Substituted 1/4 of the almond flour for dessicated coconut, decorated with toasted flakes. Once cooled, they'll be met with a cherry curd and dark chocolate.

Mockup for the new storage... did get the fridge moved over. Baskets for grab and go foods, bulletin board parrallel to fridge maybe running down the edge. Then some fake ass plants above because we just can't keep them alive.

Trimmed with some reclaimed oak and put a vent to let the fridge breath. Redo the floor next in the corner so I can move the fridge.

This fucking tiny blocked off area with it's tiny door that didn't open or close because of how wildly out of plumb it was and crooked shelves ran into my sights as I was reorganizing the pantry
