Always hate these kinds of headings because it always makes me wonder WHO said this

But this is great, because it turns out the problem wasn’t the transphobia but the fact the transphobe slagged off a bunch of clients of the company she works for in a public speech

Tribunal told woman's comments not seen as transphobic

The director of Belfast Film Festival (BFF) has told an employment tribunal that she did not view remarks made by a former staff member at a women's rights event as "transphobic".

During cross-examination, a barrister representing Ms Morrison asked the BFF director if she considered the speech to be transphobic - to which Ms Devlin replied: "There doesn't seem to be any transphobic statements in it."

She said she was shocked that Ms Morrison was critical of a number of organisations that the BFF worked with in the speech.
"I sat on my desk and I put my head in my hands," she said.

"A number of our client organisations were mentioned - people we had worked with, continued to work with, and would work with in the future."

The house felt warm. It always had that effect on me. With the pictures of the family on their annual holiday hanging from the walls to the toys scattered on the floor. A stark contrast to my relatively empty studio apartment. Richard had done well for himself. Everyone knew he would.

He reappeared and handed me a filled cup through shaking hands. Yet he refused to sit down.

“Everything okay?” I asked.

“Yeah.”

He compulsively scratched the back of his neck. Sweat dripped from his brow.

“Where are Janey and the kids?”

“Oh they’re just out. They’ll be back soon.”

“Okay.”

I took a sip from my cup. Richard couldn’t seem to stop his leg from bouncing. A crack in the door to the dining room caught my attention. I could see a few cardboard boxes scattered around the place.

“So, what’s going on?” I asked.

“Nothing.”

“Why did you call me over then?”

He stood up and walked over to the window. He closed the curtains a bit. Opened them again. I put down my mug and stood back up.

“Richard,” I said, “what’s going on.”

“I...she’s back,” he said.

I could see his car pull into their drive through the window. Janey got out. I didn’t see the kids follow her.

“Where’s the kids?” I asked.

“The leaflet,” Richard said. “Don’t go to it. Please.”

“Where are the kids, Richard?”

Remember when the BBC wrote an article implying trans women are rapists, interviewed an alleged rapist that called for the lynching of trans people, lied about there being no pro-trans voices because none came forward for an interview etc.?

Apparently they're too pro-trans now

Mr Prescott had also raised concerns about the BBC's coverage around trans issues, saying it was effectively "censored" by its specialist LGBT reporters who promoted a pro-trans agenda.
