On the other hand, many of the biggest names in that lawsuit are on the shitlist of those currently in power.

So, I'm expecting a rule in favor of AI.

Probably not even ten percent of those abused are on the list. It will be interesting to see how courts rule on this one.

That was true until AI came out. Now most of them have added clauses that they may use any image posted for training AI, and there's growing evidence some of them are actually doing it.

That's part of why this court case was so important.

I've looked. Usually, it's some other part of the ToS that loses the case. I can't find a single instance where what I'm talking about has lost.

It's something that definitely needs tried in court, but there's never been a reason to.

How horrifying! Next, he'll want such dastardly things as them to grow up safe and healthy!

Thank you for admitting your loss. Please have a terrible day.

We're talking about U.S. copyright. So the Berne Convention is irrelevant.

Also, TOSes have been ruled to be legally-binding contracts in U.S. courts. So, again, you are ignorant of what you speak.

So, please, stop projecting when you call people idiots and morons.

Look, here's a simple fact you missed: Copyrights usually have to be registered to have the full set of legal protections, and copyrights can be legally transferred in a number of ways. One of the ways to transfer a copyright is a contract, which a TOS is.

Stop projecting when you call people idiots. X Corp vs. Bright Data established it is not a break in TOS for a scraper to scrape a website without accessing it. And TOSes include language that you agree to the website legally owning what you post, which has never been tested in a court of law.
June 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Most of those sites have in their TOS that they own or have the rights to any artwork you upload on them. Reddit is one of them.

200% agreed,

By that point, they likely already will have just due to the events so far. Thus, the upset over a hero who abused and murdered his wife. That's what made the reveal so shocking the first time.

A lot of people are going to miss the detail that Silent Hill molds its existence to the person perceiving it. So, rather than seeing a person go through Hell for what they did, they'll see a man fighting monsters - a classic hero trope.

I personally don't think a movie where a man that abused and murdered his wife is the HERO is a good idea. But that's just me.

The guy they selected is an ultraconservative who opposes same sex marriage and same sex partners raising children.

Not only that, but abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood reduce abortions due to all of the health programs they have for women. If "Pro Lifers" were serious about opposing abortion, they'd shovel money into Planned Parenthood's pockets.

Not a father with daughters, but I have younger cousins who are women. Thank you.

You did your math wrong. Multiplicative distribution gets 10a^2-15a-16a+24=0. Then you simplify it to 10a^2-31a+24=0. From the rest of the equation, you end up with 1.5 and 1.6 as possible solutions.

Didn't he also predict the U.S. won't have another civil war?
