It's hard to know when I why I started to sour on this game, but I knew from the very start I wasn't enjoying the narrative, so the mid-game suspension of it, where you're mostly just hunting down self-contained targets, is what I liked best.

and half-hearted implementation of the Assassin v Templar conflict, this is my least favorite AC entry in awhile. I had the most fun when I was just clearing the map, in a sort hypnotic trance, but when forced to truly engage beyond the core systems, the game is a total bore...
