MAC was one of the most influential people on the AC brand for the past 10 years. Very odd to see him go so unceremoniously. Makes you wonder what's going on at Vantage.

I finished Shadows. Near the end I mainlined the story and it was a total slog. I don't think this is a very good Assassin's Creed game. The core gameplay loop, the shinobi fantasy, and the basebuilding are very fun, some of the best minute-to-minute gameplay yet, but its clunky narrative...

Shadows is such a fun game, & I'm nearly 40 hours in with a long way to go.
But I still think about Valhalla a lot. It's been nearly 5 years! It didn't work for everyone, but it's the AC has stuck with me the most since the Ezio days.
It had a real sense of place, one that was beautiful & tragic.

AC Shadows is a lot of fun! Core gameplay is stellar, and the open world and structure is addicting. I don’t care much for the story so far, but I do love the base builder. I like Naoe and Yasuke as protags and the controversy surrounding Yasuke, in hindsight, was hateful, contrived, and pointless.
